For complete control from open to closed, 507V
Incorporated in the disc edge are vane-like teeth which are set at a critical angle. The valve displays superb control characteristics.
The teeth around the disc edge break down the fluid energy acting on it with a resultant reduction in pressure recovery. The gull wing-like disc profile touches the seat at a pre-determined angle which results in greatly reduced seating/break out torque.

508V
Incorporates the gull wing and toothed disc edge features of the 507V, but with an integral EPDM rubber seat which includes the proven cosine curve seating features. The use of the rubber seat ring eliminates the need for an expensive additional stop valve.
The 508V seat ring is built around a metal core ensuring stability whilst the valve is working under control conditions.
Face-to-face dimensions are to ISO5752 basic series 20.
